Where do I find games to put on my calculator / How do I put them on?

kids science games

I have a TI-84 plus Silver Edition calculator from Texas Instruments (duh).
Anyway, I’ve been searching, and cannot find any games, like Tetris. I know this can be added, because countless numbers of kids at my school, have still yet to beat it and always play it.
Where do I find these? I got a CD with the calculator, but the apps it has are like educational (having to do with math and science, like graphing stuff). I tried the website they gave me too, and it did the same thing.

So where can I find games to add and how do I put them on?

What are these old kids’ game?

kids science games

The first one was an old game for children, about the era of Treasure Mountain and the such. It had this cute penguin character sitting in a living room, and you could like click on his TV or food to make him eat, You could also make music videos with different characters. That was the main menu. That’s all I remember about that one.

The next one was about the same era. From what I remember, the intro movie featured a television set and aliens, or ghosts, or something supernatural. Your character and a few friends ventured into an abandoned/haunted mansion where they had to solve math and science problems to progress. The only one I remember clearly was where you had to do something with billiards balls on a pool table.

The last game I can’t remember much about. Only that you played a little guy in a space suit, and the game was a side-scroller. I think some of the levels took place in an ice cave of some sort. Remember, these were all educational-type games.

Looking for an old Macintosh educational game?

kids educational games

I’m looking for a game I remember playing in first grade(which was in 1998). I do not know the name of it. It is a game where the opening title was in a treehouse and there was some sort of music playing. You would click on an item in the treehouse to access a different game or something. It was an educational kids game. The game had to be made in the mid to late 90’s I think. I think the title was Kids Clubhouse or Kids Treehouse or Clubhouse Kids. Another game I’m looking for is a math game. You would complete math problems to earn points(or was it money?) to race your car against this computer-controlled player in a black drag racing car. Whenever you would race against him, you would hear Oh Nooo! Oh Noooo! Oh Nooooo!. I thought I would ask here, because somebody has to know about these old Mac Games.

I cannot get my kid’s software to install in Vista. Help! Any tips other than the compatability wizard?

kids educational games

I cannot get my kids’ software (mostly Reader Rabbit games) to install on Vista. We purchased a new laptop via my husband’s work and they have gone to Vista only so that is what we have. Unfortunately, none of our kids educational games will install. I click install, authorize, and then nothing happens. I have tried the compatability wizard and the same result occurs. They have 12 games and none will load. They are all Learning Company software who of course, refers me to Microsoft for support, who refers me back to the Learning Company. Neither of which is fostering any customer loyalty at this point. Any suggestions? I really don’t want to have to spend hundreds of dollars on new software! Help!
