I have a 2 month old, and a 4 and 6 year old. I always do school time with my kids, teaching reading , math, science and ABC’s. We also have a special family time after dinner, where we all play a game or do a puzzle together, etc. And we have a long drawn-out bedtime routine where I read a book that each child picks out and then I sing them a song and say prayers before I turn out the lights.

But I don’t spend a lot of time just sitting down and playing with the kids–building things, tea parties, playing pretend, etc. We only do things like that once or twice a week. I feel like most of my day is spent cleaning, cooking or running errands. Is this normal? Should I also make time for more playing , or do they have enough interaction from me? What are other moms out there doing? I need a little perspective!
